How to Play EggCars
EggCars is a free browser game about hatching eggs and collecting isometric pixel art cars. This guide walks you through everything from creating an account to claiming your first car and turning your garage into a small business.
Getting started, step by step
1. Create your free account
Open the sign-up page and register with your email or Google account. It takes a few seconds, there is nothing to download, and new pilots start with 10 ECoins to spend in the game.
2. Build your pilot avatar
Pick skin tone, hair and shirt colour for your pixel art pilot, and choose a clan. Your profile is public, so other players can visit your garage and see the cars you collect.
3. Hatch your first egg
On the home screen you will see the metallic egg in the centre. Press Claim and the egg cracks open to reveal a random car. A new free egg becomes available every 12 hours.
4. Claim the car you rolled
The car appears as a card with its rarity — Common, Rare, Epic or Leggendary — and four stats: acceleration, speed, handling and braking. Close the card and the car is saved in your garage.
5. Collect ECoins from your garage
Every car in your garage produces ECoins over time. Open the garage and collect them regularly; rarer cars pay more. ECoins are the currency for repairs, crafting, races and the shop.
6. Complete daily rewards and quests
The 7-day calendar under the egg gives a prize each day, ending with an Epic/Leggendary egg on day 7. Three daily quests and the daily wheel add extra coins, items and eggs.
7. Trade, race and keep growing
Sell cars in the marketplace, negotiate with Rob, swap with Sazuka, craft items in Dr. Quark's lab, farm Aura with Shade and run daily races. Three duplicates of the same car can be traded for a new egg.
What you are collecting
Every car is an isometric pixel art sprite with its own rarity, stats and unique code. The starter cars are easy to find, while the top-tier ones are rare rolls that other pilots will notice when they visit your public garage.
